This is the back cover of the digipak that I have created for our fake band "The Secret Nothings" debut album "Youth In Revolt". On the back cover, I have reiterated the band name title of the album, and song list, as well as included a picture that I took myself of the Liver Buildings in Liverpool. The reason for this is that our band's background is from Liverpool and the song choices we have chosen include themes of growing up and adolescence - as a result, I have decided to use this image to symbolise that, no matter how much the status of our band increases, they will always care and respect their background and where they came from. I have also created a QR code, with my research showing that these are often placed in the bottom right corner, to suggest online content can be found if the barcode is scanned on to the phones or computers of people that buy the album. As a result, if the QR code on the back is scanned, it will lead to my band's website. Many bands of all genres appear to be using online content and social media to their advantage so I thought that including this in my digipak would be a good way to reference my target audience and the way that the music industry operates now.
